I had the opportunity of working of a dual screen set up at my internship. Not only does it make the task at hand easy (especially if you have the tendency of working with dozen windows at a time) but also makes it easy to work in one screen and watch some hot video on the other ;) I totally agree with you. Are you saying that the splitter will take a high resolution output from a graphics card as input and then proceed to split that into two pieces before pushing the split signals as input to the monitor? Happyily stuck with Laptop in its dock station and turned on my monitor and voila it was fun. For someone who these days ONLY works on Excel and Project Reports - ( Havent coded in 3 months ) I would love to have this set up @ work. Rather than doing Alt Tab to compare data between 2 sheets, 2 screens would make me do a 60 min task in 15 min.. but then who says my employer listens to me?
