macNut, thanks for dropping by. For me battery life is the most important criterion. It gets really annoying having to charge the laptop frequently.

I like both computers. Sony always produce a great display. My last vaio was a beauty. the new macbook is a darling too. Need to consider the price and utilities like batteries life and how durable the case is.

well i’m pretty much sold on the 5 hour battery life as my current laptop lasts less than 3
