The first time I read Hitch-hiker’s guide to the Galaxy, I got bored mid-way and stopped reading. I thought it was one totally pointless non-sensical rambling story. The movie version of it was played recently on TV and I watched from somewhere in the middle. The first character I saw was Marvin!. I got hooked. If I ever build a thinking robot, I’m going to call it Marvin!
Here are a couple of Marvin videos.

Hey the name Marvin is very nice but what you mean by thinking robot? to think about something they should have some senses quality if they have senses that might be humanoid robot. So the thinking robot and humanoid robot both concepts are same?

A humanoid robot has human form (shape/size etc). It may be as dumb as an ass (even that is pretty intelligent by robot standards of today
) or smarter than Einstein. Being humanoid does not indicate intelligence. Being intelligent also does not indicate possessing human attributes. So what I am saying is that, intelligence is not a purely human attribute.

Go back and read the book! The pointlessness of the story is part of the fun. The movie was good but not close to how awesome the book is
